dc.description.abstractA ligand, 4-diphenylphosphino antipyrine (4-DFFA) can be synthesized from 2,3-dimethyl-1-phenyl-5-one-pirazole (antipyrine) and equimolar chloro diphenyl phosphine via litiation using n-Buli. The ligand was reacted with equimolar [Pd(MeCN)2Cb] to form a binuclear complex [Pd2CI 4(4-DFFA)i]. The structure of the ligand and the complex were confirmed by FT - IR, 1H and 31 P{1H} - NMR spectroscopy.en_US
