Research has been carried out on the utilization of flavonoid compounds from papaya leaf extract as a tyrosinase inhibitor in the process of skin pigmentation. This study aims to determine the effect of papaya leaf extract on the area of vitiligo, percent repigmentation and the amount of melanin pigment after monobenzone was applied. This research was completed from February to June 2022. The research design used in this study was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatment groups, namely K- (administration of monobenzone), K+ (administration of monobenzone and commercial ointment), P1 (administration of monobenzone and ointment of papaya leaf extract 25%), P2 (administration of monobenzone and ointment of papaya leaf extract 50%) and P3 (administration of monobenzone and ointment of papaya leaf extract 75%). The results showed that papaya leaf extract with a concentration of 75% was the best in reducing vitiligo area, increasing the percentage of pigmentation and increasing the amount of melanin pigment with a vitiligo area of 0.102 cm2, repigmentation percentage of 73.74%, and the amount of melanin pigment as much as 454.04 pigments. characterized by darkening of the skin of miceen_US
