Respon Masyarakat Kecamatan Binjai Timur Kota Binjai terhadap Program Jaminan Kesehatan Masyarakat
Abstract
Community Response Eastern City of Binjai Binjai City to public health insurance programs.
This thesis consists of 6 chapters, 86 pages, 2 charts and 35 tables.
Indonesian society, particularly North Sumatra is still struggling with poverty, as
recorded by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in March 2010 that the number of people
living below the poverty line reached 31.02 million people in North Sumatra alone while the
number of poor people there are as many as 1490. 900 souls. Circumstances that led to poor
communities they are unable to meet health costs. Because of these circumstances, the
government create a program to address health problems of the poor. One is the public health
insurance programs (Jamkesmas). Jamkesmas Program will certainly get a response from the
community, although in theory the program will receive a positive response. However, this
has not been established because in determining the response can be seen from the three
variables, namely perception, attitudes, and participation. Given these conditions, every
community in the various regions will have different responses to a program provided by the
government. This study aims to determine the community response Binjai district east of
Jamkesmas program.
The research method using descriptive type which makes the overall picture of how
the community responses. This research was conducted in the district east Binjai by
respondents, amounting to 28 people. Techniques of data collection through questionnaires to
the respondents, observation, and direct interviews to respondents who can strengthen this
research data. While the method used is descriptive analysis, data obtained from the research
study and the responses are classified according to the kinds and tabulated into frequency
tables were analyzed, and using a Likert scale to measure the variables.
Based on the data collected and analyzed can be concluded that on average
Jamkesmas program received a positive response from the community with a value of 0.96.
Consisting of perception with a value of 0.96 and attitudes with a value of 1 and participation
with the value 0.92. Society expects Jamkesmas program continues.
