    Sistem Peringatan Dini Banjir Menggunakan Mikrokontroler ATMEGA8 yang di Pantau Via Android

    Abstract
    The height of the water in the river blades can still be left behind, no one concerned with the impact. If heavy rains come within approximately 30 minutes the Sri Bilah RantauPrapat river will overflow (flood), and may endanger the people of RantauPrapat city. Due to the depth of the river is only about 2 to 8 meters. This river is the largest river in Labuhan Batu that crossing 6 districts, namely, Kec. Western Bilah, Kec. North Rantau, Kec. Pangkatan, Kec. South Rantau, Kec. Downstream Bilah, and Kec. Panai Hulu. In this study, the authors provide solutions with the existence of flood early warning system in sei sri rantauprapat with ATMEGA8 microcontroller monitored via android. This system makes it easier to monitor the water level control in the river. The existence of this system is expected to minimize the impact of flood hazard that can endanger the people of RantauPrapat city, especially the outskirts of Sri Bilahriver.
     
    Ketinggian air pada sungai bilah rantauprapat selama ini masih di biarkan begitu saja, tidak ada yang perduli dengan dampaknya. Jika hujan deras datang dalam waktu kurang lebih 30 menit sungai Sri Bilah RantauPrapat akan meluap (banjir), dan dapat membahayakan masyarakat kota RantauPrapat. Dikarenakan kedalaman sungai hanya berkisar 2 sampai 8 meter. Sungai ini adalah sungai terbesar di Labuhan Batu yang melintasi 6 kecamatan, yaitu Kec. bilah barat, Kec. Rantau Utara, Kec. Pangkatan, Kec. Rantau Selatan, Kec. Bilah Hilir, dan Kec. Panai Hulu. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis memberikan solusi dengan adanya sistem peringatan dini banjir di sei sri bilah rantauprapat dengan mikrokontroler ATMEGA8 yang dipantau via android. Sistem ini mempermudah dalam hal pemantauan kendali ketinggian air di sungai. Adanya sistem ini diharapkan memperkecil dampak bahaya banjir yang dapat membahayakan masyarakat kota RantauPrapat, terutama daerah pinggiran sungai Sri Bilah.
