North Sumatra ). Social capital is one of the basic capital development is now
beginning to be noticed by many. Social capital itself is characterized by growing and
functioning of institutions in society well. On this basis, it can be said that the

will be more effective. Issues that will be used as the material of this research, among
others: 1. How Javanese ethnic community in the village of Sena support the success
of the village development.?, 2. Social capital is owned by the Javanese ethnic
community in the village of Sena to support the success of rural development
objectives of this study are: 1. To find out the ways in which the Javanese community

social capital owned by the Javanese in the village of Sena, 3. to support the success

the characteristics and configuration of social capital in rural ethnic communities in

of Batang Quiz but Sena village is the smallest village inhabitants, the village is
located in the middle of the subdistrict Batang Kuis.
