dc.description.abstractOne of dirruptions that occured was the COVID-19 pandemic which resulted in the learning process being online and fully using e-learning. This causes college students to need high grit to be able to survive. Grit is defined as an individual’s tendency to maintain persistance and enthusiasm for long-term goals. Grit aspects consists of consistency of passion and perseverance of effort. This study took a sample of 218college students divided into the 2019, 2020 and 2021 batcheswho were taken using accidental sampling technique. The number of items was 15 with a reliability of 0.868. The results showed an overview of grit among college students in University of Sumatera Utara’s faculty of psychologyis in the high grit category. There were 208 research subjects in the high grit category (95,4%), 10 subjects in the medium category (4,6%), and no subject in the low category.en_US
