dc.description.abstractProspect Family Program (PKH) is one of the social protection programs that provide cash assistance to the Very Poor Households (RTSM) and for the members of these house holds are required to implement out the terms and conditions determined. The program in the short term aims to reduce the burden of Very Poor Households (RTSM) and in the long term is expected to break the intergenerational transmission of poverty, so that the next generation can get out of the poverty trap. PKH implementation also supports efforts to achieve the Millennium Development Goals. Five components of Millennium Development Goals (MDG's) that will be helped by PKH namely: Reduction of poverty and Hunger Society, Primary Education, Gender Equality, Reduction of Infant and Child Mortality Rate, Reduction of Maternal Mortality. The research was conducted in the village of the District Tetehosi Idanogawo Nias as one of the locations that the program implemented by the government in coordination with the Department of Social, UPPKH District, Post Office / Officers Post and PKH Assistants as a partner during the course of the program. The study used the descriptive research method, a research that aims to provide a description of the situation studied. To obtain the necessary data, this study used data collection techniques and literature study and field study consisting of questionnaires, interviews and observations. The results of data analysis indicate that there is an increase in access and the quality of education and health care for Very Poor Households (RTSM) Participant of Prospect Family Program (PKH) in the Village District of Idanogawo Tetehosi Nias after the implementation of prospect Family Program (PKH). Program evaluation viewed from the input aspects, process, output and impact of the program. Prospect Family Program (PKH) has succeeded in providing social protection to PKH participants in the form of health insurance and improving the quality of education services in the Village District of Idanogawo Tetehosi Nias.en_US
