| dc.description.abstract | Air transport is an activity is the transportation of passengers and goods
in oneor more travel form one airport to another airport, which is one of the
important means of it's role in the development of the current era. Because the
role of air transport is very important, then the air transport must be arrangedin
such a way so that it is able to realize the security, the safety of passengers,
baggage and goods on record Hence the need to research to research about how
legal protection of baggage items listed passengers, the loss of the carrier's
responsibility and how a dispute over luggage goods recorded a loss of
passengers.
This research uses a kind of normative research is descriptive research
analytical research that is, by using the technique of data collection library
research (study library) field research (field work), analysis of data on the use of
data qualitative and deductive who operater air transport provisions as well as to
the liability of the carrier luggage items recorded againts passengers
Based on the results of the research note that reponsibilities and legal
protection of the air againts the transport of baggage items recorded a passenger
arranged under law No.8 of 1999 on the protection of consumers. In conducting
