Pengaruh Profitabilitas, Pertumbuhan Perusahaan, dan Ukuran Perusahaan terhadap Nilai Perusahaan pada Perusahaan Perbankan yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2013- 2015

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of profitability, firm growth, and firm size to firm value in banking companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Profitability is indicated by Return On Asset (ROA), the firm growth is indicated by the value of Asset Growth, firm size is indicated by the value of SIZE, and the firm value is indicated by the value of Price to Book Value (PBV). This study population is a banking company listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013 until 2015. Sample selection was done by using purposive sampling and obtained as many as 31 companies. The variables of this study consisted of profitability, firm growth, and firm size as independent variables and firm value as dependent variable. The method of analysis used in this research is linear regression analysis method by using simple linear regression to test partial hypothesis and multiple linear regression to test the hypothesis simultaneously. The test in this research is done by using SPSS program. The test result showed that profitability partially has a positive and significant effect to the firm value, variable of company growth partially has a negative and insignificant effect to the firm value and firm size partially has a positive and insignificant effect to the firm value. Simultaneously testing showed that profitability, firm growth, and firm size have a significant effect to the firm value.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah profitabilitas, pertumbuhan perusahaan, dan ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan pada perusahaan perbankan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Profitabilitas diindikasikan dengan Return On Asset (ROA), pertumbuhan perusahaan diindikasikan dengan nilai Growth Asset, ukuran perusahaan diindikasikan dengan nilai SIZE, dan nilai perusahaan diindikasikan dengan Price to Book Value (PBV). Populasi penelitian ini adalah perusahaan perbankan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2013 hingga tahun 2015. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling dan diperoleh sebanyak 31 perusahaan. Variabel penelitian ini terdiri dari profitabilitas, pertumbuhan perusahaan, dan ukuran perusahaan sebagai variabel independen dan nilai perusahaan sebagai variabel dependen. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis regresi linear dengan menggunakan regresi linear sederhana untuk menguji hipotesis secara parsial dan regresi linear berganda untuk menguji hipotesis secara simultan. Pengujian dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan program SPSS. Hasil pengujian memperlihatkan bahwa profitabilitas secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, variabel pertumbuhan perusahaan secara parsial berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan dan ukuran perusahaan secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Pengujian secara simultan menunjukkan profitabilitas, pertumbuhan perusahaan, dan ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan.
