dc.description.abstract | The research have been done in April 21-24th 2008 and from this research we want to
know about the Diversity Of Macrozoobenthic in lau Kawar Lakes. Sampel were
collected from four stations by Purposive Random Sampling method. Surber net’s and
Eckmann Grabb was used to taken the sampel. Samples were identified in Laboratory
PSDAL, Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematic and Natural Sciences of
North Sumatera University.
The result showed that there were found four classes (Insecta, Crustaceae,
Turbelaria, and Gastropode) within 7 genera of Macrozoobenthic. Thiara sp I has the
highest density index with 470,33 ind/m2
that was founded in Fourth station, and
Allocapnia sp in Ist station has the lowest density index with 3,66 ind/m2
. The Index
Diversity (H’) of all station with value between 0,4886-1,5286 and according to the
analysis of Pearson Correlatin, BOD5 and Organic Substrat has the direct correlated
to the Diversity of Macrozoobenthic, while pH, Dissolved Oxygen and Oxygen
saturation has the opposite correlated to the Diversity of Macrozoobenthic, thus Light
Penetration and Temperature have constant variables. | en_US |
