Pelaksanaan Pendidikan Kesehatan dalam Perspektif Pasien dan Perawat Pelaksana di Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat Haji Adam Malik Medan

Abstract

Nurse as an educator, has a role in giving health education to the patient in the hospital. The carrying of the health education not satisfy yet in the hospital. The research has a purpose to explore the carrying of the health education in the patient and nurse perspective. This kind of research is qualitative and phenomenology research with Collaizi method. Snowball samplestechnique is using to choose participant, about eighteen people, ten patients and eight nurses that fulfill the criteria. The technique in collecting data with deep observation and range note. The result of this research has found six themesabout carrying of health education are the patient perspective and the nurse perspective, the support of the health education. The obstacles of carrying of the health education. The fulfill of health education and health education impact. The conclusion of this research is health education has been done in the hospital but it is doing without planning.
