Karbonilasi Metil Oleat dengan Katalis PdCl2/CuCl2 Menggunakan Aerosil sebagai Penyerap Air

Abstract

A carbonylation of methyl oleate using PdCl2 as catalyst had been carried out by mixing methyl oleate, PdCl2/CuCl2, HCOOH, CH3OH, THF and aerosil to adsorb the water. The mixture was heated at 50o C and stirred for 2 hours under pressure of CO/O2 gases. Product was characterized using FT-IR and 1H-NMR spectroscopy.
