Pengaruh Faktor Predisposisi, Pemungkin dan Penguat Pasien Rawat Jalan terhadap Penggunaan Obat Generik di Puskesmas Bandar Petalangan Kabupaten Pelalawan Propinsi Riau

Abstract

Based on the data obtained from the health center of Bandar Petalangan, Pelalawan District, Riau Province in 2009, the use of generic medicine was lower as 46. 1%. The low usage of generic medicine's by the community, it is noted as a cheap generic medicine, low of quality and for people poor. The purpose of this study to analyze the influence of predisposing factors, enabling and reinforcing on the use of out-patient generic medicine at health center of Bandar Petalangan, Pelalawan District, Riau Province in 2010, with an explanatory survey. The population of this study were all of the 1.846 out-patient of Bandar Petalangan and 104 of them were selected to be sample through simple random sampling technique. The data for this study were obtained through interviews using questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed through multiple logistic regression test at a = 5%. The result of this study showed that statistically the predisposing factors (knowledge, attitudes, educational level) and enabling factors (the behavior of health workers, general doctors/dentists, nurses/midwives, assistant pharmacist) had significant influenced on the use of generic medicine out-patients (p <0.05), while factor predisposition (income variable) and enabling factors (availability of the type and amount of generic medicine) had no any influence (p> 0.05). The variable of knowledge was the dominant variable which influenced the use of generic medicine at health center of Bandar Petalangan, Pelalawan District with the coefficient B of 4.163. The district health office and the health center of Bandar Petalangan, Pelalawan District are suggested to improve the community's knowledge by increasing the role of Information and Education Communication (KIE), and for the health workers to motivate the community's in enhancing the use of generic medicine.

Berdasarkan data Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Pelalawan Propinsi Riau Tahun 2010, penggunaan obat generik di Puskesmas Bandar Petalangan pada Tahun 2009 masih rendah 46, 1 %. Rendahnya penggunaan obat generik oleh masyarakat, ditengarai karena obat generik adalah obat murahan, kurang bermutu dan untuk masyarakat yang kurang mampu. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh faktor predisposisi, pemungkin dan penguat pasien rawat jalan terhadap penggunaan obat generik di Puskesmas Bandar Petalangan Kabupaten Pelalawan, dengan metode survei explanatory. Populasi dalam penelitian seluruh pasien yang berobat jalan di Puskesmas Bandar Petalangan berjumlah 1.846 orang. Sampel sebanyak 104 orang, sampel diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling. Data diperoleh dengan wawancara menggunakan kuesioner, dianalisis dengan uji regresi logistik berganda pada u=0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara statistik faktor predisposisi (pengetahuan, sikap, tingkat pendidikan) dan faktor pemungkin (perilaku petugas kesehatan, dokter umum/gigi, perawat/bidan, asisten apoteker) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penggunaan obat generik pasien rawat jalan (p<0,05), sedangkan faktor predisposisi (variabel tingkat pendapatan) dan faktor pemungkin (ketersediaan jenis dan jumlah obat generik) tidak berpengaruh (p>0,05). Variabel pengetahuan paling dominan memengaruhi penggun~ obat generik di Puskesmas Bandar Petalangan Kabupaten Pelalawan dengan nilai koefisien B (4,163). Disarankan kepada Dinas Kesehatan dan Puskesmas Bandar Petalangan Kabupaten Pelalawan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat dengan meningkatkan peran Komunikasi Informasi dan Edukasi (KIE), dan petugas kesehatan supaya memotivasi masyarakat untuk menggunakan obat generik.
