dc.description.abstractThe research about “ In vitro culture of immature Barangan flower (Musa acuminata L.) in MS medium with various concentration of BAP and NAA” has been done in Tissue Culture Laboratory UPT BBI Agriculture Department of North Sumatera. The research is purposed to obtain the best concentration of growth regulator. The design of the research is Complete Randomized Design with 2 factors which is BAP with concentration of 0; 2.5; 3.75; 5 mg/l and NAA with concentration of 0; 0.5; 1; 1.5 mg/l. The statistic analysis shows that the treatments of BAP and NAA give non significant effect to the growth of the culture. The treatment of B0N3 (0 mg/l BAP and 1.5 mg/l NAA) is the shortest time for culture initiation, and the treatment of B1N1 (2.5 mg/l BAP and 0.5 mg/l NAA) is the best for shoot number.en_US
