Determination the influence of storage time on Sweet orange peel essential oil quality is conceived. The variation of storage time was 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 days. Essential oil obtained by distillation for 6 hours, oil and water separated by the addition of anhydrous Na2SO4 then weighed and calculated rendement. Oil from peel stored at 1, 2 and 3 days blended into one (short storage) as well as in the oil stored at 4, 5 and 6 days (long storage). Then determined the quality of essential oils which include density, refractive index, acid number and solubility in alcohol 96% and the main components of essential oils is determined by GCMS. The results showed a higher yield long storage than the short storage. The mean specific gravity, refractive index, acid number and solubility in 96% alcohol in a short storage of oil are respectively 0.8251, 1.3843, 0.2304 and 1:1 up to 1:10 clear, while the long storage of oil, respectively 0.8391, 1.4623, 1.0140; 1:1 up to 1:10 clear. The main components of sweet orange peel oil is D-limonene, which is short of storage tends to produce a percentage of D-limonene is greater.en_US
