dc.description.abstract | Political participation is community participation in various political
activities. Political activities one of which is participation in the Legislative
elections. Election is a democratic expression of an area that can serve as a
medium to achieve political power. The victory of candidates is determined by the
number of voters who will participate in these elections. Legislative Candidates
victory will be greatly affected by the act or something that had been done to the.
public in its region, because it will be a big chance to be elected in the election.
There are four elements that a major issue in the elections, namely product,
promotion, place and price, as measured from the party form an indicator plate,
track record, personal, and the character of the candidate. From the side of the
plate form the party can attract a significant number of voters, sometimes the
public political choice is also based on the bearer party although in some surveys
political choice based on the platform of the party are not significant. Shape

process of identifying the various factors supporting the formation of a political

- The study concluded that in the democratic life of each citizen in this study is the
Javanese ethnic communities in the District Sei Rampah have the same rights and
opportunities in the political system prevailing at the sites. Furthermore, the
factors that drive the political preferensitas Javanese ethnic communities in the
District Sei Rampah because 1) Every major basic policies towards social
democracy requires the capacity of the specific role of government and the
community is very significant; 2) The rule of law also support the creation of a
healthy political climate given certain indications dominant power elite needs to
be minimized; 3) Sustainability of the power of civil society organizations that
civil society should not be controlled by both the local government so that it can
