dc.description.abstract | Transesterification of crude palm oil ( CPO ) with 7,82 % free fatty acids has been done by using 1,2-dimethyl-1,1,2,2-tetraphenyl-disilane sulfonated as a catalyst with different temperature and reusability of the catalyst. 1,2-dimethyl-1,1,2,2-tetrapheyl-disilane sulfonated was prepare by sulfonation of 1,2-dimethyl-1,1,2,2-tetraphenyl-disilane with acetil sulphate as a sulfonating agent. General reaction materials involve crude palm oil ( CPO ), dry methanol, and 1,2-dimethyl-1,1,2,2-tetraphenyl-disilane sulfonated were mixture in the stainless steel reactor by heating and stirring. The best product 95,91 % methyl ester was analyze by GC-Shimadzu taken with temperature 160 0C. After three times transesterification the catalyst showed good stabilization. | en_US |
