Pengembangan Kawasan Wisata Pantai Sejarah Perupuk dalam Rangka Konservasi Alam Kecamatan Lima Puluh Kabupaten Batubara

Abstract

The existence of the object and attraction of sejarah coast tourism at Batubara District had been widely known by the public. But to be able to develop the tourism potential in the framework of nature conservation in the area were still constrained to several factors, such as the local government and local communities are less to preserve large trees, the logged of mangrove forests along the coast were not controlled. From the results were known that the factors which influence the development of tourism area of sejarah Perupuk coast in the utilization of nature conservation, preservation and potential of the coast. The potential of sejarah coastal within the framework of nature conservation is good, the coastal protection is still not good, where the coastal protection efforts of damages was not done. Preserving the biodiversity is not good, because there is no any effort to be well planned to replant mangroves along the coast. The utilization in the framework of nature conservation areas were still less. These were showed that the efforts to conserve mangroves forest in the location was not maximized. The development efforts of tourism area of Sejarah Coast of nature conservation were ; the Government and community was doing the mangrove forest protection program, particularly in terms of : Securing the protected area of mangrove forests from any form of disruption and damage, replant the mangroves, improve the function and role of protected areas of mangrove forest optimally for the benefit of the community. In order for these activities will happen it was needed the supervision so that the utilization of mangrove forests to ensure the sustainability of mangrove forests, and the holding of activities for the preservation of critical lands mangrove forests, so that the location that had been critical of mangroves can develop into a good land. Later in the development of tourism (ecotourism) should ensure the integrity and sustainability of ecosystems, which can be done with community participation from planning to implementation of conservation on the ground (bottom up approach).
