Hubungan Antara Regulasi Emosi dengan Resiliensi Komunitas Suporter Sepak Bola di Kota Medan pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of emotional regulation on community resilience to football supporters in Medan during the COVID-19 pandemic. Emotion regulation is a person's ability to be able to control emotions and adapt them to environmental demands, so that individuals are able to avoid the negative effects of excessive emotional responses. Community resilience is the ability of community members to take meaningful action and deliberation to remedy the effects of a problem that occurs. The population in this study were members of the football supporter community. The research method used is a quantitative method. The data collection method used is a Likert scale with a number of scales, namely 2 where the community resilience scale is 24 and emotional regulation is 10. The data analysis method uses a simple linear regression analysis method. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it was found that there was an influence of emotional regulation on the resilience of the football support community in Medan during the covid-19 pandemic. Emotional regulation affects the resilience of the football supporter community in Medan City during the COVID-19 pandemic, which is influenced by 24% while the rest is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. This shows that emotional regulation will affect the resilience of the football supporter community in the city of Medan during the covid-19 pandemic.
