dc.description.abstract | Recausticizing is a process that intend to recycle cooking liquor liquor inorganic material from kraft process. In the recausticizing was recovered white liquor that a mixer of sodium hydroxide and sodium sulfide from the green liquor. Recauticizing reaction begin from slaking process of calcium oxide with water and reacts with sodium carbonate which contain in the green liquor. This process take place in the slaker were obtained product sodium hydroxide (white liquor) and calcium carbonate called lime mud. Make up lime was added to anticipated losses of lime from the recovery system. Total addition of fresh lime is standard of rccauticizing process effectivity. Recausticizing process does effective process if fresh lime make up is small compared with total lime necessity. Based on data research fresh lime make up was 166.65 kglday. Compared with the total necessity was 89601.5 kg/day. This result corfirmated that recausticizing process in PT. Toba Pulp Lestari has been done effectivity. | en_US |
