Analisis Karakteristik Psikometri Tes Army Alpha 1

Abstract

Saat ini, kebutuhan akan alat ukur psikologi semakin meningkat. Suatu tes harus memiliki kualitas psikometri yang baik agar hasilnya sesuai dengan fungsi ukur tes tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat dan mengetahui kualitas psikometri tes Army Alpha 1. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder berupa respon subjek pada lembar jawaban sebanyak 412 lembar yang diperoleh dari beberapa biro psikologi di Medan yang menggunakan tes Army Alpha 1. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa terdapat beberapa aitem yang tingkat kesukarannya sudah tidak sesuai dengan yang seharusnya, yakni aitem 2 hingga aitem aitem 9. Namun untuk keseluruhan aitem yang terdapat dalam tes Army Alpha 1 masih memiliki indeks diskriminasi yang baik. Selain itu, dari hasil analisis validitas faktor konfirmatori, menemukan hanya terdapat 8 aitem yang memiliki t-value dan muatan faktor standar di atas nilai kritikal, sedangkan 4 aitem lainnya tidak memenuhi kriteria validitas sebagai tes inteligensi. Dari hasil estimasi reliabilitas juga menunjukkan bahwa tes Army Alpha 1 kurang reliabel dimana ditemukan besarnya koefisien reliabilitas dalam penelitian ini hanya sebesar 0,814.

Nowadays, the need for psychological test increases rapidly. The psychological test must has good psychometric quality so the result will be compatible with its function. The purpose of this study is to find out the Army Alpha-1’s psychometric quality. The data that was used in this study was secondary data in the form of 412 subject’s response on the answer sheet that was collected from some psychology consultation bureau in Medan who used Army Alpha-1 Test. The result of this study showed to several items whose level of difficulty is not in accordance with what should be, those items was second item (items number 2) until ninth item. But for the overall items in Army Alpha-1 Test still have good index of discrimination. Further, from the result of confirmatory factor validity analysis, found only 8 items had t-value and standard loading factor was above critical value, while the other four items didn’t meet the criteria of validity as intelligence tests. From the result of reliability estimation showed that Army Alpha-1 Test was less reliable because the reliability coefficient in this research just was 0.814.
