dc.description.abstractMade of the kompon cis-1,4 isoprene (natural rubber} SIR 20 which have been vulcanized and enhanced by a liquid smoke from cangkang of coconut of sawit and phenol as antioxidant. The result of mixing between natural rubber of SIR 20 with the liquid smoke and phenol can reduce the oxidation of natural rubber of SIR 20 to the influence shear and thermal in the moment of rubber processing. Technique of mixing of cis-1,4 isoprene (natural rubber) SIR 20 which have been vulcanized with the liquid smoke addition is to drop liquid smoke to natural rubber in internal mixer with the variation of liquid smoke 0, 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 phr of between liquid smoke and phenol. The result from the examination indicates that the rubber enhanced and also rubber enhanced by a liquid smoke mixture by phenol can pursue the happening of degrading oxidize to enchain the cis-1,4 isoprene. The matter is proved with the method FT-IR. From this examination result above indicate that process oxidizes the thermal is more effective formed relatively at addition :S 2 phr liquid smoke. But the addition of liquid smoke or phenol with the high concentration (above 2 phr) reduce reaction the degrades oxidation is not effective.en_US
