The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is well known as one of the most powerful techniques for decision aid in modeling of multicriteria problems. The AHP is generally used to derive priorities based on judgment of the decision maker that is obtained by means of pairwise comparison. The most common technique for estimating relative priority weights is originally proposed by Saaty called the eigen vector method. Recently, a variety of alternative approaches ranging from the least square method to linear programming have been developed. However, the weights to be assigned to the decision elements on each hierarchy in the AHP method are imprecise in nature.
