In this paper we discuss how to influence the press to the second pressure on the oil content of palm kernel oil residues in PT.Multimas Nabati Asahan-Kuala Tanjung which is a plant which processed palm kernel oil (CPKO), ranging from palm kernel (kernel) to be the core of oil (CPKO). Processing of palm kernel oil is starting from sorting at the loading ramp and the pressing process is the final stage of the process. The entire treatment process is intended to get a good palm kernel oil and high value. Loss of palm kernel oil contained in the pulp press (Second Press) greatly affects the quality of palm kernel oil. Pressing process is influenced by the screw press, screw press work pressure, and water content (moisture). Loss of palm kernel oil contained in the pulp press (Second Press) is 7.50 to 8.0% where the value is taken from the press which still contain residues of palm kernel oil. Loss of palm kernel oil from the pulp mill press the appropriate standard is ≤ 8.0%.en_US
