dc.description.abstract | The performance of employees plays an important role in an organization
because the support of the employees who are competent in their field is needed to
achieve organizational goals. The purpose of this quantitative descriptive
explanatory study was to find out and analyze the influence of incentive, work
satisfaction and career development on the performance of employees. The
theories used in this study conducted in Financial and Public Administration
Bureau, Universitas Negeri Medan, are the incentives, work satisfaction, career
development and performance theories. The population of this study was all of the
133 employees working for Financial and Public Administration Bureau,
Universitas Negeri Medan, and 100 of them were selected to be the samples for
this study. The data for this study were obtained through documentation study,
questionnaire distribution and interviews. The data obtained were analyzed
through multiple linear regression tests. The result of this study showed that,
simultaneously and partially, incentives, work satisfaction and career
development had a significant influence on the performance of employees of
Financial and Public Administration Bureau, Universitas Negeri Medan. Work
satisfaction was the most dominant factor influencing the performance of
employees meaning that the variable of work satisfaction played a greater role in
determining the performance of the employees of Financial and Public
Administration Bureau, Universitas Negeri Medan. | en_US |
