This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of training programs
and promotion to performance on PT. Bank of North Sumatra. The company's
success is supported by the performance of employees. Employee performance is
the result of work that has been achieved by the employee in carrying out the
duties and responsibilities to the company. Employee's performance will increase
with the training and development and promotion of employees. The purpose of
this study to determine and analyze the influence of training and development and
promotion of employee performance at PT. Central Bank of North Sumatra. The
study sample was 70 respondents who are employees of PT Bank Central Sumatra
is located in Medan found in 11 divisions. Analysis of data using Multiple Linear
Regression analysis with SPSS version 17. Ability of variable training,
development, promotion may explain the variation effect on the performance
variables of 80, 4%, while the remaining 19, 6% is explained by other variables not
included in the study. Results of the study variables simultaneously training,
development, promotion and a significant positive effect on employee
performance variables. Variable partial training, development and promotion of
positive and significant effect on the performance of the employee and the
employee's performance is the dominant influence jabatab promotion. Final
conclusion of this study can be recommended as an input to the Office of the
Central Bank in Medan of North Sumatra.
