Fatty acid is a monocarboxylic acid with unbranched chains of carbon atoms and having an even number. Levels of fatty acids found in fatty acid products FA1499 (minimum 99% myristic acid) containing saturated fatty acids derived from the trap of raw palm kernel oil and coconut oil. FA1499 fatty acid product is obtained from the hydrogenation process is further fractionated to produce a mixture of fatty acids to be analyzed by gas chromatography. Results of analysis of the products contain the type of saturated fatty acids lauric acid (C12) and 0.138% myristic acid (C14) 99.862%. Levels of this fatty acid analysis have fulfilled the established specificationsen_US
