dc.description.abstract | Ammonia content contained in the water is one parameter that must be
analyzed interms of determining the qualitty of drinking water.Ammonia is a gas
which has an unpleasant odor, large amounts of ammonia can be poison
Ammonia in water is usually found as ammonium. To determine levels of
ammonia in water sampels can be performed using spectrophotometric methhod.
Where the first sampel on was added stabilizer and dispersing agent poliphinyl alcohol
and nessler reagen. Using a spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 425 nm, the
ammonia can be determined.
From the results of levels of ammonia in the water reservoir at the taps
obtained Tirtanadi averange levels of ammonia in the water reservoir revolve
0,012mg/l util 0,051 mg/l. Ammonia levels are stiil meet water quality requirements
according to the Ministry Of Health Decree No.492/MENKES /Per/SK/Iv/2010 date
19 1 April 2010 is 1,5mg/l. This suggests that the levels of ammonia in water reservoir
is still far below the established water quality standard of processed taps become
Tirtanadi still good and suitable for consumption by the public. | en_US |
