dc.description.abstractAnalysis has been performed determining the chlorine and pH levels from swimming pool water in the Medan city with a spectrophotometric method is based on the formation of orange-red color on the sample after adding the DPD (N-diethyl-pphenylenediamine). The results obtained in the analysis of the chlorine content of 0.26 to 0.39 mg / l. The results of this analysis in accordance with the standards set by SNI 06-4824-1998, namely that the content of chlorine in swimming pool water does not exceed 4.0 mg / l.
