dc.description.abstractHas conducted research on the utilization of RBD Palm Olein-epoxidation As Source Of Results In Making Polyurethane Polyols in Oil Palm Research Center (PPKS) field. This study uses quantitative methods and FT-IR where the results obtained from the levels of iodine-RBD Palm Olein is 60.26, oil analysis results oxirane number epoxidation of 1.6227 and analysis of polyol hydroxyl at 67.9843. From these results indicate that RBD Palm Olein-can produce polyurethanes by epoxidation prior to the addition of reagents and solvents methanol and isopropanol at a ratio of 1: 8 in order to form a polyol, polyol reacted with toluene diisosianant formed to produce polyurethane as the main source of polyurethane.en_US
