dc.description.abstract | Poverty is a macroeconomic pathology that face by all countries in the world
including Indonesia. North Sumatera as a part of Indonesia will also face the same
problem. This study examines the influence of High economic growth (GDRP growth),
education (the impact of education graduated), unemployment on poverty in North
Sumatera, in this case for all of districts in North Sumatera in 2010 - 2011 Data used
in this research is secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS)
as well as browsing the internet website as a supporter. While the method of analysis
used in this research is a method of multiple linear regression analysis with Doolittle
abbreviated :
Y = 0,357+ 1,5447 X1- 0,3208 X2- 0,5264 X3- 0,6402 X4+ 0,7698 X5- 0,0881 X6.
The results of this study indicate that the High economic growth (GDRP growth)
variable is positive and significant effect on poverty levels, educational variables
which proxy with the impact of elementary school, junior high school, senior high
school graduated rate of significant negative effect on the level of poverty, variables
which proxy with the impact of university graduated has positive and significant
impact on the level of poverty, unemployment variable has negative and not
significant impact on the level of poverty in North Sumatera. | en_US |
