dc.description.abstractAn experimental and theoretical iwestigation wos made to find out the effect of the ffictiveness atid pressure drop oti the 1-2 pass shell and rube hem aichaiigar with different bafrle distance for staggered tube arrdngement. A heat exchanger using segmental bafrle wtth 23,85% baffle cut is tested with dffirent baffle distance which are: 36 mm, 40 mm, 45 mm, 45 mm, 5l mm, 59 mm, and 7l mm. The experimental results showed that a mmimum coeficient heat transfer with Nusselt number (Nu) and minimum pressure drop with friction factor fi is found in 45 mm of bafrle distance.
