dc.description.abstractThe measurement of water flow velocity is really needed to notice the potential of water resource in one river flow area. The equipment used to measure the speed of water flow as the monitor and evaluation of water balance in one area through the existed water surface resource. The aim of the design and implementation of the measurement system of water flow is to imply the system using phototransistor sensor which has been installed at the blade to produce pulse geat as the output of encoder. Then this pulse changed into water flow velocity in m/sec. Through microcontroller and display on LCD. The unit of water velocity can be gained by the multiplication of measured water velocity by the surface area (m2)en_US
