Pengendalian Persediaan Spare Part Printer Menggunakan Metode Economic Order Quantity dengan Back Order pada PT Mitra Infoparama Medan

Abstract

Inventories are goods that are stored to be used to fulfill a specific purpose, such as for use in the production or assembly process, for resale, or for parts of an equipment or machinery. The research firm faced with a problem that has always suffered lack inventory because of great need. The purpose of this research is to determine the optimal amount of inventory in order to obtain the minimum inventory cost of EPSON printer spare part inventories type of inkjet and type of dot matrix in PT. Mitra Infoparama Medan. Model analysis of the data used in this research is a model of EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) with back order. Based on the results of the calculation of EOQ with back orders obtained optimal order quantity types of inkjet printer spare parts as much as 454 units with 45 days cycle time and printer parts dot matrix type as much as 279 units with lap times of 42 days. Total cost of printer spare part inventories type of inkjet is Rp. 1072368316.9 and type of dot matrix is Rp. 1,594,563,750.00.
