The problems that arise in industry often have no definitive answer. Fuzzy logic is
a method to analyze the uncertain system. This study discusses the application of
fuzzy logic in solving problems with the production of Mamdani approach. The
existence of inventory / stock goods in warehouses that will most likely result in
damage to both the content and packaging, as well as items that can cause harm
expired PT. Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk. To obtain maximum benefit, the
company must do to meet the maximum sales with the market demand and the
amount of the corresponding right. Therefore, it takes planning production
quantities of goods at a specified time in order to meet the market demand and the
amount of the corresponding right and minimize losses due to incompatibility
with the sale of goods produced (excess inventory / stock items). In this study
completed with the help of Matlab software and the obtained optimal production
quantities when compared with the results of calculation of the value of the MPE
(Mean Percentage Error) and MAPE (Mean Absolute Percentage Error) of the
amount of actual production with forecast production quantities of Mamdani
Fuzzy is not much different from the calculation MPE (Mean Percentage Error)
and MAPE (Mean Absolute Percentage Error) of the amount of actual production
with forecast production quantities of Forecasting Company.
