Have done research Comparison of Level of Free Fatty Acid Crude Palm Oil to
some products resulting in the process refenery and fractionation. processusing
titration Alkalimetrymethod in PT Smart Tbk Medan - Belawan. From the
research obtained percent levels of CPO (Crude Palm Oil), RBDPO (Refined
Bleached Deodorized Palm oil), PFAD (Palm Fatty Acid Distilate), RBDPOL
(Refined Bleached Deodorized Palm Olein), RBDPST (Refined Bleached
Deodorized Palm stearin) respectively 4,216%, 0.050%, 91.74%, 0.054%,
0.0416%. From the results of the study showed that the percent of Free Fatty Acid
levels of CPO (Crude Palm Oil) after going through the process of purification
and fractionation has a ratio of 40 : 1 : 920 : 1 : 1 where the percent of Free Fatty
Acid levels highest in PFAD (Palm Fatty Acid Distilate ) and the lowest RBDPO
(Refined Bleached Deodorized Palm Oil).
