dc.description.abstractDiscriminant analisys is a statistical technique that can be used on depedensi relationship (relationship between variables which able differentiate between where the response variable and explanatory variables). In this study using discriminant analysis aims to look at the factors that most affect student achievement levels in SMA Negeri 1 Rantau Utara. Student achievement is the result of the achievement of maximum according to the student’s ability at a given time in a studied, worked, understood, and stipulate. The study was conducted in SMA Negeri 1 Rantau Utara, Kabupaten Labuhan Batu and the respondents were students of class XI and class XII. As for factors that affect student achievement levels in SMA Negeri 1 Rantau Utara is achievemen is interests of leaners, level discipline, teaching and learing facilities, the level of teacher performacnce, the level of family economic. From five factors were that most affect the level of student achievement is interest of learners, and model (function) discriminan obtained have statuted classify by 55,7%.en_US
