Pengendalian Persediaan Produksi Minyak Sawit dan Inti Sawit pada PTPN IV (Persero) Bah Jambi

Abstract

Inventory represents the amount of reserved material to meet demand of consumers in certain period. If the demand is uncertain, the stock could be insufficient or becoming excessive. Therefore, Inventory control is necessary to manage material to be optimal inventory. Inventory control is the main problem in company’s management. Likewise with PTPN IV (Persero) Bah Jambi that produce Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and Palm Kernel (PK), the inventory must be managed properly. In this case, an inventory model for PTPN IV (Persero) Bah Jambi is to determine the production quantity that minimizes the costs of inventory.
