BULOG Public Company North Sumatra Regional Division is experiencing a
problem of uncertainty in determining optimal amount of rice stock. Fuzzy logic
is a method for analyzing systems that contain uncertainty. This research
discusses the application of fuzzy‟s logic in solving problems rice stock to Perum
BULOG of North Sumatera Region‟s Division approach to Fuzzy-Mamdani. The
data which used in this research are the data entry, distribution, and rices stock
from the month of January to December 2015. The design of systems to obtain the
output is done in stage by stage (a) Establishment of a fuzzy set, (b) Application
implication function, (c) Composition of the rules, (d) The assertion
(defuzzyfikasi). Problem solving by using the method Fuzzy-Mamdani is done by
centroid method using Matlab 6.1 software fuzzy toolbox so desired results will
be obtained in the variable output. Data calculation of Fuzzy-mamdani supply of
rice for the month of January was obtained 18.485,567 tons, whereas the data by
Perum BULOG of North Sumatera Region‟s Division in January was 35.038 tons,
so the analysis of the comparison between rice stock realization with the approach
Fuzzy-Mamdani look different and the result from approach fuzzy-Mamdani more
optimal.
