Abstract

Factor analysis is a data analysis technique that is intended to reduce the number of variables into smaller groups called factors. Based on the research results obtained by four dominant factors that effect teen decision to smoking behavior that advertisement (21,38%), factor of knowledge about the dangers of smoking (16,31%), environment factors (9,25%), and factor of easy get it (8,86%). The four factors giving the diversity of gasoline at 56,80% means the four factors is a dominant factor and the rest of it can be influenced by factors others were not identified by research.
