Pengendalian Persediaan Bahan Baku dengan Metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) (Studi Kasus PT Pabrik Es Siantar)

Abstract

Inventory problem is based on ordering raw materials appropriate. Over and less of ordering raw materials can make problem that usually happen in some company. As happening in PT. Pabrik Es Siantar, ordering of raw materials usually over and less. Because of that, in this research the writer use a method to control inventory that is Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. Beside to optimize the inventory cost, inventory controlling by this method also give the optimum result in production service. In this research, we get the optimum solution of the ordering quantity and has been proved that EOQ method give the optimal solution in economical cost 43% from the inventory cost by the company.
