This study was conducted to analyze the factors that affect the rate of inflation and to test the effectiveness of multiple linear regression method to analyze the case of inflation. The analysis showed that the variables in the money supply, interest rates, the value of the rupiah against the dollar, and imports simultaneously positive and significant effect on the rate of inflation, which means that the rate of inflation may increase. Obtained the coefficient of determination (R2) of 66.10% with a significant level of 5%, which means that these variables influence the rate of inflation while the remaining 33.90% is influenced by other factors.en_US
