dc.description.abstractRice is a staple in Indonesian society that provides energy and nutrients are high. Rice as a staple food commodity consumption by most people. Even the people's preference to rice getting bigger from year to year. North Sumatra Province is an area that has great agricultural potential scent and as barns in the region of West Sumatra. In terms of rice production, Serdang Bedagai still plays an important role in the availability of rice in the province of North Sumatra. This study attempts to examine beberapa factor expected to have an influence on the availability of rice, which is rice production, demand for rice, the land area and population. This research was conducted at the Food Security Agency of North Sumatra. Data analysis techniques in this research is path analysis. The study found that all of this hypothesis has been proven and significant.en_US
