Guidance in schools is an integral part of the overall school activity programs, so
it can be interpreted that the objectives to be achieved by a school guidance
objectives. Awareness follow the guidance of learning is a concern specially in
view of education is an important thing that should be monitored every process.
This study aims to determine what factors most influence on consciousness
following the guidance of student learning SMA Negeri 3 Medan. These factors
include: cost, motivation, lifestyle and attitudes and beliefs. This research was
conducted at SMA Negeri 3 Medan. The study population was all students of
class XII SMA Negeri 3 Medan by the number 603. The sample was determined
by using the technique Slovin where taken precision (sampling rate set at 10%
with 90% confidence level) totaling 86 respondents. The method used in this
research was logistic regression. In this study the authors using SPSS 21 software
help to resolve logistic regression program. So the factors that most influence the
level of awareness of mandatory tutoring is a factor attitudes and beliefs which
totaled 0,887.
