dc.description.abstractPT. Golden Coin-Indonesia Mill is a comparrywhich producesfodder. One af the gtpes of fodder is 105 ISA P. In accomplishing its production process, this companyfaces many problems such as a great amount of rejectedfeed in the period of 2014-June, 2015 because numerous fodders hod exceeded the quality standard of fodder; namely, Ij% of moisture content ond 3% of ash content. The purpose of this study was to analyze some foctors which influenced the quality of fodder like moisture content and ash content during the processing process by using regression and correlation analyses and by determinrng the optimum value of each processing process. The result of the analysis showed that the variables which influenced the product quality during the process of production were rnixtng time, steam conditioning temperature, and cooling time. The variable which had the most dominant influence on moisture content during the processing process was mixing time at 0.8541. The processing had bigger cofficient correlation on ash content than thot on moisture conlent. For the production processing control design, it is recommended that the management of the company use mixing time of 235 seconds, steam conditioning temperature of 87C, and cooling time of 192 seconds. Product quality obtained by using this design was l2.l60% of moisture content and 2.59% of ash content.en_US
