| dc.description.abstract | Land use at Aek Kanopan to day is the land used to residence, offices, and
commercial service activities. As time passes, there is urban dynamic growth so that
urban planning and management cannot control its development. Since it was
established as the capital of Labuhanbatu Utara Regency in 2008, activities demand
Aek Kanopan to change dynamically as the fulfillment of the need for its surrounding
area. The change in land use is caused by the growth of population, its location, and
its accessibility. The objective of the research was to analyze the land use and some
aspects which ilifluenced it on the corridor of Jalan Jendral Sudirman, Aek Kanopan.
The research used descriptive rationalistic method with map overlay (superimpose)
and descriptive analytic approach. It was found that the land use occurred and the
aspects influenced land use in downtown of Jalan Sudirman. It was also found that
commercial and service activities had been accommodated Land use was influenced
b>?-lbe growth of population, its location, and its accessibility. The charoclerzstic of
land function in the research area was rapidly and dynamically developed based on
the development of activities in it. Therefore, it could be explained, that the land use
as the commercial and service location in this corridor could be explored optimally. | en_US |
