Vehicle routing problem is the problem of determining the distribution of vehicles
in goods and services. Objectives to be achieved in vehicle routing problem is to
find the optimal total cost. In fact in the real world vehicle routing problems are
generally uncertain, suppose there is a demand that is uncertain yet the vehicle
capacity is limited. Therefore this problem need a model that can describe for
vehicle routing problems with uncertain demand with limited vehicle capacity.
Two-phase possibilistic programming model can be applied in this problem, by
defining demand is uncertain as trapezoidal fuzzy number, which is then
interpreted as possibility distributions. Effect of uncertainty in customer demand
is considered as the recourse cost. To then charge recourse is there to be one of
the considerations for optimizing the total cost.
