Abstract
EVALUATION OF SOCIAL REHABILITATION PROGRAM

The house has a very large function for individuals and families not only
include the physical aspects, but also mentally and socially. To support the
function of the house as a good place to live then the physical condition that must
be met as a safe haven, mentally fulfilling sense of comfort and socially to
maintain the privacy of each family member. To realize the house that meets these
requirements is not easy. Powerlessness they meet the needs of decent housing is
directly proportional to the income and knowledge about the functioning of the
house itself. In order to achieve adequate shelter for all the people the government
is responsible for providing facilities to the public in order to occupy decent
housing, healthy, safe, secure and easily accessible.
This research was conducted in Jorong Cage Melabung Nagari Lawang
Mandahiling Tanah Datar District of Salimpaung. This type of research uses
descriptive study with a sample of 100 families. Data collection techniques using
methods of observation and interviews, while the descriptive data analysis
techniques and dinterprestasikan obtained with the technique used is a single data
analysis techniques.
Based on the data analysis we concluded that the evaluation of the
implementation of social rehabilitation programs uninhabitable houses in Jorong
Cage Melabung Nagari Lawang Mandahiling Tanah Datar District of Salimpaung
already well underway. Evaluation visits of several indicators of inputs, processes,
outputs and effect. Social rehabilitation program uninhabitable houses is very
assist communities in meeting the needs of adequate shelter so that communities
are able to perform the role and social function better sehinngga expected the
government and the community together to support the success of the program for
future improvement.
