Dukungan Keluarga Bagi Keberfungsian Sosial Penyandang Disabilitas Di Panti Sosial Bina Daksa “Bahagia” Sumatera Utara

Abstract

Presence disabilitas incumbent is part of the whole community of people that need the attention of all elements in a good family and social environment in sociological sometimes cause problems resulting in their social ketidakberfungsian. Families with disabled children feel ashamed disabilitas there so they do not develop the ability and personality and then load them into the family. The research was conducted at the Social Panti Bina Daksa "Happy" in the North Sumatra Iskandar Williem road No. Field 377. This study is a descriptive study, key informants in the study where it is incumbent disabilitas client and getting the construction of four, that is the base of three informants who is a social worker at Social Panti Bina Daksa "Happy" North Sumatra and ordinary informants namely four people from their family - their key informants. Data collection techniques with the study of literature, field studies and in depth interviews. The data obtained in the field and then analyzed by the researchers explained qualitatively, so in the end it can be concluded from these findings. Based on data - data that has been collected and analyzed can disimpulakan that family support for the social functioning of persons with disabilities have been doing - which is the best thing for them. Family support is very helpful given to them and the development of social functioning of persons with disabilities have shown changes in the better.
