Drug abuse is a complex issue, requiring a comprehensive
prevention efforts involving multidisciplinary, multisector, and active
community participation is implemented by means of continuous,
consistent, and consistent. Drug abuse currently involves among teenagers,
adults, up to the parents and not the least among them women who
participated in drug abuse.
The population of this study were 55 people who became the target
of Al-Kamal total Sibolangit Center. The samples in this study were 15 12-
23 year old adolescents using purposive sampling method sampling. The
method used is an explanatory research methods with quantitative
approaches. The technique of collecting data through questionnaires and
observation and interviews. The data obtained are tabulated in the table
were then analyzed with the Product Moment Correlation technique.
Based on the data that has been collected and analyzed that
socioeconomic influences on drug abuse affected families is very low as the
value of the product moment correlation count is smaller than the moment
the table, then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. This means that there is a
very low influence between family socioeconomic against drug abuse.
Conclusion that family socioeconomic impact is very low against drug
abuse.
